Tribe Laws
---
Welcome to the tribe law book, or list. Really whatever you want to call it, this is where you'll find the tribe's laws. Obeying and abiding by these laws is completely optional for a player, no actual punishment will come to you if you break these. These are for in-character(role-play) and in-character only, the only punishment that will be received is punishment in-character. Remember all of these laws are always able to change, with the coming of new faces, voices, power, and ability, anything could happen. The tribe's fate is in your guys' hands.
If you find yourself to be a witness to a lawbreaker, you should report to the Harocele (in-character of course).

Key:
Green(149014) = Law is currently active.
Blue(005acc) = The law is active but is not properly enforced.
Red(cc0000) = Law is no longer active, probably forgotten or scrapped by whoever runs this joint.
Services
Any member of the tribe has a right to deny their services to another, whether that be for food, familiars, herbs, or protection. It doesn't matter, if they refuse to serve you, find someone else. If you cannot find someone willing to provide paid services to you, you may approach a member of the Harocele and they'll be more than willing to help, free of charge. However, free services are only given in cases of true need.
Sustenance
Nobody has to feed you, receiving prepared foods from the Shikari is a privilege, not a right. You can hunt for yourself if you find yourself financially struggling, or beg others to share their own meals. Only if you're starving the Harocele or fellow tribe members may be merciful enough to spend an extra coin on you or share their own meals.
Health & Healing
It's not an uncommon sight to see a tribemate injured, either from a spar, a pit fight, a hunt, who knows. Injury is common here, making The Apothecary pillar extremely important to the tribe's survival. There are exceptions to payment when it comes to treatments and general healing, as it is extremely important. If you cannot pay the Apothecary upfront for their services, you may owe them. However, while you are in debt to the individual that serviced you, you may not receive any future treatment from them until the debt is paid.
Fighting & Aggression
Nobody can force you to get along with someone else, so we say, fight it out in the pit. If whatever squabble you had meant enough to you, you'd fight it out. You cannot force anyone to fight you, though. If they do not want to fight you, then they shall not. That won't stop anyone from thinking they're a coward though.
Harassing the Tribeless
Leave them be, they have a hard enough life living on their own without you attacking them without reason. Remind them they're on rival lands and nudge them away. If they wish to stay, bring them to the Harocele. If not and they act out, they're free game.
Rank Challenging
Rank challenges are never lethal, the goal is to prove your worth of the rank, not to outright kill your opponent. To kill your opponent is seen in poor taste, often resulting in punishment and leaving the rank barren until someone worthy can step up to the plate. However, harassing your opponent after they have lost and taking them as a temporary prisoner of shame is tradition and is encouraged.
Murder & Bloodshed
To murder a tribemate is seen as the highest form of crime to be committed. The tribe has a saying, 'a life for a life'. A fair trade don't you think? If you're ever caught and proven to be a murderer among the tribe, you will be beaten, shamed, and executed.
A Right to Trial
Each and every member of the tribe has a right to be seen before the Harocele council to be judged for their actions, especially if accused of guilt. The tribe may seem merciless, but they do believe in justice and fairness.
Sales & Distribution of Recreational Medicines
The tribe doesn't appreciate the Apothecary selling herbs for recreational purposes, they know how much of something someone may need. They shouldn't be breaking the laws for a little extra coin. Those found doing so will be punished, both the seller and the recipient.
