: Conflicts & Plotting :
---
The Narhaali administration takes a hands-off approach when it comes to IC conflict. We will only step in if we feel the need to, this usually being that the actions the characters are taking go against out rules, or it happens to threaten the tribe's existence or livelihood (rebellion, leader overthrow, assassination). If the plot takes a turn and becomes something bigger than it originally was, it may become an event for the tribe, where anyone can step in. Of course depending on the circumstances.

Starting a Plot
- Private or Public
When starting a plot, you must decide if you'd prefer this plot to be with specific people, or open for anyone to join. This would determine the rules for the plot as well as how to go about getting people to join.- Private
If your plot is private, your characters' actions may not affect those, outside of the plot. Meaning that you cannot have a bear attack the tribe camp or something. You cannot go raid a pack's territory or anything of the sort. If you have a plot idea and you're unsure if it conflicts with this rule, feel free to ask a staff member or in Help Desk. - Public
If your plot is public, you must advertise the plot for other people to see by posting it here on the forums and linking it to the Discord. Depending on what the plot is about, you may need staff approval of the plot, especially if the original idea is to change the game in some way.
- Private
- IC Events
All plots must be driven by IC events. - Consent from Both Sides
If the main part of the plot is to harass another group or person, you must get their permission to do it IC. DO NOT propose and advertise a plot with such content without permission to do so.

A quick and easy rundown of what the difference between fights and spars are as well as some explanation to how Narhaali runs in correspondence to these actions.
Spars
Spars are practice or play fights usually used for training or a sort of dominance game. These fights are NEVER fatal nor will they ever result in severe issues such as paralysis, infertility, limp, permanent injuries, etc. However, if you were to let a wound get infected and refuse treatment, your character's death is your own fault.
Fights
Fights and the results from them can vary on the situation and the cause of the fight. A territory dispute could result in death for the intruder, but a fight resulting from an argument may not result in serious injury or death for either of the fighters. In fights anything goes, by engaging in one, you accept the fact that if the fight is not broken up by someone, or if there isn't any sort of submission in either party, your character could die.
- 3:1 Rule
The 3:1 rule is the rule that only applies to hunts, battles, etc. Whereas for every three hits attempted, at least one must hit at all times.
WARNING: Keep in mind, in Narhaali, people do not need consent or permission to attempt to kill your character. However, if permission was not obtained, anybody is allowed to butt into the fight and break it up or protect the character being attacked. By attacking someone else's character without permission, you have basically given your victim and anyone protecting them permission to kill your character, so keep this in mind. You're not invulnerable.
However, this does not permit constantly attacking/attempting to kill other people's characters. If we see you doing this, you will receive a warning and/or OOC punishment.
